FONST 5000 X16 is a compact size OXC with 16 dimensions with cascading capability for 32 dimension. Mainly positioned for metro core ROADM networks. Through the MESH networking of OXC devices, the distance between core sites can be minimized to the greatest extent possible, and detours can be made to reduce costs. The use of OXC equipment's all optical backplane can eliminate massive fiber connections within the station, improving the efficiency of exchanging large granularity services, whilst reducing business costs
