MWC Barcelona, Spain, March 2, 2026 – FiberHome and PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk, IDX: WIFI (“SURGE”) have officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to deploy World’s first 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) 1.4GHz solution. 

The signing ceremony took place at the FiberHome booth during MWC 2026 in Barcelona, marking a significant milestone in accelerating Indonesia’s digital transformation and expanding affordable internet access nationwide. 

SURGE, through its subsidiary PT Telemedia Komunikasi Pratama, launched the world’s first 5G FWA 1.4GHz commercial service under the brand IRA – Internet Rakyat on February 19, 2026. Delivering high-speed fixed broadband of up to 100 Mbps at an affordable price of only Rp100,000 (approximately US$6) per month with unlimited quota and free modem rental, IRA – Internet Rakyat is set to redefine fixed wireless access by combining breakthrough spectrum innovation with mass-market accessibility.
